Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte has successfully undergone surgery to remove his gallbladder, the club announced on Wednesday, February 1st, 2023. The procedure went according to plan, and Conte is now recovering well.
Return to Work
Conte was diagnosed with cholecystitis, an inflammation of the gallbladder, and was initially ruled out for just a week after the surgery. However, a return to the club's training ground was cut short seven days later when doctors demanded Conte remain in Italy for further recovery.
Tottenham manager Antonio Conte is now back in Italy, where he will remain to fully recover from the surgery. The club confirmed that Conte will not return to the team's training ground until he has fully recovered.
