Beetlejuice 2: Tim Burton and Winona Ryder Reunite for Long-Awaited Sequel

Synopsis

After years of anticipation, the sequel to Tim Burton's beloved horror-comedy Beetlejuice is finally becoming a reality. The original film, released in 1988, starred Michael Keaton as the titular mischievous ghost and Winona Ryder as Lydia Deetz, a young girl who summons him to scare her parents.

The sequel, titled Beetlejuice 2, will reunite Burton with Ryder, who will reprise her role as Lydia. The film will also feature Jenna Ortega (Wednesday) and Monica Bellucci (The Matrix Reloaded) in undisclosed roles.

Release Date

Beetlejuice 2 is scheduled to be released in theaters on September 6, 2024, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
